MAGIC support for Student Conferences

MAGIC has provided partial funding towards a number of student conferences.

Since 2015, these include:

2023

• 11-14 July 2023: Durham Early Career Researchers in Mathematics (Durham University)
• 20-21 July 2023: British Early Career Mathematicians’ Colloquium (University of Birmingham)
• 5-8 September 2023: 36th British Topology Meeting and Early Careers Researchers’ Conference (University of Sheffield)
• 11-14 September 2023: 46th Research Students’ Conference in Probability and Statistics (University of Sheffield)

2022

• 21-22 July 2022: British Early Career Mathematicians’ Colloquium (University of Birmingham)
• 5-8 September 2022: Nottingham RSC (Probability and Statistics) (University of Nottingham)

2021

• 15-16 July 2021: British Early Career Mathematicians’ Colloquium (University of Birmingham)
• 12-14 August 2021: Young Functional Analysts' Workshop (Lancaster University)

MAGIC offered partial funding to both conferences but this was not required as both conferences were moved online.

Deadlines for receipt of applications are 1 December and 1 May each year.
